I'm a rock star.

My Aunt Gillian gave me this outfit for Christmas. Again, I fit into it a little sooner than anyone expected ... but I'm glad I do because it's way cool! Don't I look like a rock star?

Making new friends

My mom and dad's friends Ross and Shane came over for brunch the other day. We had so much fun, and they played with me and held me and it was great!

A super-cute outfit!

This is another cute outfit that a friend of my mom's gave me. I love it, and the little matching hat is so cute!

The only problem with the hat, though ...

... is that it hides my fabulous hair!

Storytime with Dad

One of my favorite things about bedtime is when Daddy reads me a story. Sometimes we do it on the couch or in a chair, and sometimes we do it right there on my changing table!

More snow!

The cold blustery weather just keeps coming! Mom and Dad like to take Kodiak over to the tennis courts so he can run around and play in the snow. I hate getting dressed in my snowsuit...

But then once I'm all bundled up I like being outside!

Yeah, I'm tough.

I got this cute outfit from my mom's friends at The New York Times. Mom and Dad were surprised that it fit me already, but I wasn't. I know I'm growing fast! Don't I look like a grownup boy in it? Either that or like a tough guy who's saying, "Watchoo lookin' at?!"

Apres pool

As fun as it was, swimming was exhausting! A couple times I fell asleep right in Mom's arms, still in the pool! But then we'd get out, and Mom and Dad would dry me off and wrap me up and keep me nice and warm while I rested from my exertion. This is the life!

I WENT SWIMMING!

Definitely the coolest part about the whole trip was that I went swimming for the first time. I love my bath, and as you might guess, I loved the pool too. I went swimming almost every day we were there. What a great time!

More fun outside

Another great thing about being in the warm weather was that we could do all the same things we do at home, but do them outside! Mom and I spent a lot of time reading my favorite books out on the lawn. We had so much fun together!

But it tuckered me out. And I had to take a nap...

Tummy time with Dad

Now, you know I'm not a big fan of tummy time (who is?) but I tell you, tummy time on the grass, in the warm weather, with Daddy by my side? It doesn't get any better than that!

When in Florida...

My cousins Resli and Lela handed down this fab gator outfit to me. I figured since I was in Florida I'd better wear it.

It looks good with the shades, don't you think?

Mom and Dad on a date

Since we had both my grandmothers there, my parents took advantage and went out to dinner, just the two of them, for the first time since I was born. I'm sure they missed me tons, but they were pretty excited!

And then at the restaurant they realized they'd been gone almost three whole hours, and rushed right home to see how I was doing.

As it turns out, I slept the ENTIRE time and was no trouble at all. I hope they don't think they can do this regularly, though!

My Nana was there!

Another great thing about our trip to Floriday--my Nana came for a few days, too! I had a lot of fun hanging out with her, too:

We had some important conversations...

And I chewed on her finger for a while...

And I slept in her arms a lot. It was great!

My cousin Madeline

One of the most exciting things about going to Florida was that I got to meet my cousin Madeline (and her parents, my aunt Maria and uncle Rob). Here's our first meeting--I was a little shocked by her beauty, as you can see by the expression on my face.

Madeline fell in love with Chris pretty much immediately.

Madeline and I and Maria and my mom had a great time hanging out outside, enjoying the warm weather and the grass and the sun. What a difference from the cold snowy frozenness of home!

We also had fun hanging out at the pool. We're talking to each other here, saying, "What's up with this stuff they make us put on our heads? Why can't we just enjoy the sunshine like they do?!"
