My first baby doll

When we got home, Mom let me open this gift from my Nana. Gee, I wonder what it could be...

OK, got the ribbon off, now for the paper.

Mmm, paper.

Oops, sorry, back to the matter at hand.

OK, what have we got here?

Look, it's an awesome, soft and snuggly baseball-player doll for me!

Thank you Nana!

A BIG milestone

On Sunday, December 6th, I turned one year old!

Mom and Dad got me my very own cupcake with a candle and everything. (And bubbles to celebrate, too!)

At first I wasn't sure what to do with this strange looking thing.

But then Dad gave me a quick lesson on the yumminess of cupcakes,

And I quickly took matters into my own hands.

Happy Birthday to me!

My Opa

While we were in CT, I also got to hang out my Opa Matty.

It had been a long time since we saw each other.

It was great to see him again.
PS: Gee, do you wonder where I get my eyes??

Now that I'm a whole year old...

I'm allowed to drink regular milk. Hey Mom, get on the ball, woodjya?

Here we are, thank you.

Wow, this cow's milk stuff is yummy!

But the growing up part is exhausting.

Another trip

We went back down to CT last weekend to visit our friends Cara, Peter, Cailey, and Garrett. They took such good care of me!

One of my favorite parts was playing with their sweet dog, Chester.

He was so nice, I wanted to get right into his bed with him and pat him on the head.

Boy was that bed comfie! I decided to lie down right there with him!

Our fun new game

First Mom or Dad asks me, "How big is Atticus?"

Then I think about it a second and tell them, "SOO big!"

My favorite toy.

Mom and Dad brought tons of toys for me to play with in DC.

However, what I enjoyed playing with most was the dog's leash. Go figure.

Turkey Dinner

Along with my 1st Thanksgiving, I had my first Thanksgiving Dinner! Before we ate, Mom and Dad got me ready for the big meal. (I won't wear a bib, so that means gettin' me naked!)

First I tried the cranberry. Yumm.

Then I moved on to sweet potato. Delish.

All in all I was one happy diner!

My First Thanksgiving

We went to Washington, DC, for my first Thanksgiving and spent it with our cousins Reeny and Kenn.

I got to hang out with my Aunt Gillian and my Uncle Adam and my Nana,

and I met my cousins Resli and Lela!

Daddy had a good time playing with them, too.

Mom didn't bring her camera so these are the only pictures we have, but we had a great time!

I got spots...

I came down with [another] terrible cold recently. This time, though, it seems I also had a fever and then developed this Roseola-like rash. All over my body. Boy was it ugly, but it didn't seem to bother me in the least...

How cute am I??

The purpose of these pictures was to show you what happens when I'm quicker than Mom and get to her wine glass first.

But you can't really see the wine all over me. Instead I just look super cute!

Almost a year already?!

On November 6th, I turned 11 months old. (Yes, Mom's a little behind. Sorry...) See, this sign proves it:

Ha ha ha, yep! I'm 11 months old!

OK, now let's get down to business.

Oh yum!
