My latest trick

I've been able to take my socks off by myself for a couple weeks. Lately, though, I've started taking one arm of my shirt off during dinner. See?

Yo, Dad, I see you over there. Don't think you're going to put my shirt back on...

Seriously, if you people would just leave me alone I could get back to my meal. Sheesh.

There we go. Thank you.

Wheelbarrow Rides!

Mom tells me that she used to love getting wheelbarrow rides when she was little. So she let me try it out while we were playing in the back yard.

It took me a a couple seconds to get used to it, but then I had a great time!

Fall foliage

Wow, we have LOTS of leaves in our backyard.

Umm, Dad, weren't you supposed to be taking care of this?

Just kidding, I like sitting here!

More playground fun!

Mom forgot that we had all these fun videos from our trips to the playground...

Here's me on our first chilly visit, enjoying the swing.

And here's me on the swing during our next trip.

After the swings, we played in the tunnel. It was hard walking on the bottom of a circle!

And then Mom took me down the slide. Wheee!

Our playground

Dad did some investigating and discovered that there's a great playground near our new home.

I love the swing.

And Mom and I played in the tunnel, too.

I hope Dad takes me here every day!

My First Halloween!

I was a dragon! Or maybe I was a dinosaur! (We're not really sure...)

But whichever one I was, I looked REALLY cute, don't you think?

Dad certainly thought so.

And so did all the trick-or-treaters coming to the door!

No one could compare to me...

But Dad got in the spirit for answering the door...

and so did Mom...

and Nana...

and our friend Paula.

We all wore costumes on Halloween!

A new food.

Hmm, what is this wondrous thing you give me?

There's some meat on it...

But it's got its own handle, too.

Ohh, it's a spare rib. What a wonderful invention!

PS: You'll notice I've started "posing" for the camera. Will there be no good pictures from this point on??

My 2nd Official Haircut

Yep, it was time again. My hair was hanging in my eyes. Luckily, now we live near our friend Julie, and she cut my hair for me!

I loved when she sprayed water at me.

And I let her cut my hair (most of it anyway) without any fuss.

See what a great job she did? (I don't look happy, but that's not Julie's fault!)

My first Jack-o-Lantern

Seeing as how Halloween was coming, Daddy helped me carve my first Jack-o-Latern!

First he planned out what he would carve:

And once he got that right...

he started cutting!

I was very nervous; it was a really sharp knife!

But WOW! Look at what a great pumpkin Dad made me!

Silly fun with Mom

Sometimes Mom and I play this game where I put my finger in her mouth...

and then she pretends to bite me...

and then we both laugh!

Doesn't that look like fun?!

Our new home!

We're getting settled in our new home, and I'm pretty happy about it.

See, we've even got my pen all set up and everything!

Yep, Rochester life is good.

Adieu, ma chere

When you move, you have to say goodbye to your friends. Julia and I went out to lunch (our Moms came, too) to say goodbye.

Here's me explaining that we'll still be friends.

It was hard for her to accept; she's grown very attached to me. Sometimes tough love is the way to go.

Althoug I did let her kiss my hand before we parted.

I miss you Julia! Hopefully we'll see you soon.
