A boy and his lobster?

Dad brought me home a 2-lb lobster named Fred.

At first we thought we'd have him for dinner.

But then I started petting him and getting to know him.

So we decided to keep him as a pet.

But then last night, while I slept, he must have run away...

My developing taste buds

I've surprised Mom and Dad lately with some of the foods I've decided to eat.

Here we have a delicious medley of chicken and OLIVES.

And here I am chowing down on heirloom TOMATOES.

(PS: This night I also ate an entire cheeseburger, plus part of Dad's!)

See, I'm growing up!

My 1st daycare incident

I was viciously attacked by a classmate with a pretty full set of teeth.

The teacher told Mom and Dad that the biter cried longer and harder than I did.

I'm really totally fine, but it's pretty impressive, isn't it?

Me and My Opa

My Opa came and visited us. I had such a wonderful time with him, and I'm already sad he's gone.

Did I mention that we had a heat wave?

Sometimes there's just nothing to do but take off your pants.

And hang out half naked.

The skin's gotta breathe, you know?!

A boy of many talents

I'm a messy eater, so I sometimes eat topless. Get over it.

Look, I can count: ONE...

TWO!

And I can say MORE...

...and PLEASE.

OMG, what will I do next?!

I know, I'll drink some milk.

My big boy outfit

We had some really hot weather last week, so Mom broke out my 24 months summer clothes.

She thought I looked pretty adorable in this outfit--especially the pink shirt--so she kept snapping pix.

Even close-up!

I'm getting unhappy here, but don't I look about 4 years old?!

A gift from my Great (and great) Aunt Ella

She sent me two Dr. Seuss books, and these two fabulous Dr. Seuss creatures.

Thank you, Ella!

My new trick

I've become quite the little monkey lately.

In no time at all, I can hoist myself up onto just about anything.

(Yes, that's Kody trying to stop me...)

Then I stand right up...

...and get into all kinds of trouble!

Luckily, though, I'm also very good at turning around and lowering myself back down safely!
