Please meet SMOG:

My new dragon humidifier.

When Mom and Dad first put him in my room, I was very curious but very wary. I talked and talked to him, but wouldn't come close. Finally I got up the courage to touch him. He has a dial! And I turn it! We're friends now, and I talked to him all throughout the night and into the morning...

Post-Bath Cuddles

After Mom finishes my bath, Dad comes in to dry me off and cuddle me warm.

We always look at ourselves in the mirror and have a good giggle.

It's one of my favorite parts of the day!

A chair just for me

Look what I have!

It's my very own chair, and it's just my size.

I like to sit here when I'm reading, or when I'm just hanging out.

Isn't it great?!

The Abominable Snow Baby!

This morning when we went to go to the store, it was 6 degrees outside. So Mom got me all bundled up.

But that makes it kind of hard to play...

...never mind move around!

We hope it's just a phase...

Lately I like to stand on my head. All the time.

Maybe it's how I do my best thinking...

Mirror Me

This Baby Einstein book has been one of my favorites since I was a little baby.

Now I'm starting to read it on my own.

I especially like that there's a mirror on every page.

See, I turn the pages all by myself!

The Strong National Museum of Play

There is the most amazing museum here in Rochester. You can check it out at www.museumofplay.org.

Dad and I go a lot--especially since Uncle Adam and Aunt Amy got us a membership for Christmas. (Thank you!)

You can hang out with Sesame Street muppets.

And there's a piano that's just my size.

There's even a mini Wegmans!

And there's this great pit filled with trucks and stones and things.

There's a great big fish tank,

and a cool bubble tube.

There's a Berenstain Bears section, too, but they frighten me a little...

And there's a big sandbox!

There's also a place where you can have your picture taken like this:

And then it turns it into an email post card like this!

You can even curl up and read a book in Big Bird's nest.

And that's just the beginning! Look for more museum posts throughout the year!

Another haircut!

My hair was getting really long again, so off we went to see my Aunt Julie for a hair cut.

At first I was a little unsure of the whole thing.

But then I got into it. I even helped her out by combing my own hair.

Hooray, I can see again!

Sunday 1/24/10: MY FIRST WORD!

And it was ... [drum roll, please] ...:

CHEESE!

Since I'm not a trained seal, despite what Mom and Dad might think, they couldn't capture me on camera saying it. But someday, they hope.

And then last night, on Monday 1/25/2010, I said my SECOND WORD!
It was ...:

FISH!
(But it was in reference to a fish tub toy, not fish as food. Just to clarify.)

More to come--and picture updates coming soon, too!

Rub-a-Dub-Dub in the Tub!

Yes, I still love my bath. I like to play with my squirty toys,

and my stacking cups.

And I love to watch the water go down the drain, and play with the new water coming out of the faucet.
(I know, you totally want to pinch my butt, don't you?)

So much fun!

Let it snow!

We've had LOTS of snow lately. It's a good thing my Aunt Gillian and Uncle Harvey sent me this snazzy snow suit!

It took me a few tries to get the hang of walking in the deep snow...

And I wasn't always too steady on my feet. Uh-oh, here I go...

It's OK! I'm alright!

All things considered, though, I think I'll stick to the roads.
