"The Crib" series

I woke up with really funny bedhead from my nap. Mom and Dad tried to capture it on film but didn't really succeed. Instead, though, they got a great series of photos of my post-nap happiness ...

This one does a pretty good job of showing you all FOUR of my teeth.

This is just seriously damn cute.

This one ain't so bad either.

In this one I'm showing off my newest discovery: my tongue!

And finally, this one does a decent job of showing you my wacky hair.

More walking video

The videos Mom and Dad take are always really dark, even in the bright daylight and with all the lights on. They'll figure out a better way, but in the meantime here's another video of me walking--I'm getting VERY good! (I do seem to have a little stage fright though; I fall over waaay more often when the camera's on!)

My new toy

Daddy got me a new toy yesterday--it's an alligator xylophone!

(We need my Aunt Gillian to help Mommy figure out how to use DropShots so we can rotate these videos before posting them ... sorry!

Time Inside = Time Outside

OMG, do I have something huge to tell you!

Oops, sorry, you can't see it? Here, let me fix that ...

LOOK! I'm 9 months old!!

A new food

Mom's trying to expand my horizons beyond baby purees. So she gave me this mini whole wheat frozen bagel.

After a few sniffs, I dug right in!

It was all going swimmingly, until I tried to show the bagel to Kody...

Rather than napping, I like to do this instead:

First, I throw EVERYTHING out of my crib.

(Here's a close-up of my handiwork.)

And then I run back and forth from one end of the crib to the other.

My next nap is tomorrow morning at 11. Want to play with me?

Sippy cup skills?

Gee, I sure am getting the hang of this sippy cup thing.

Just kidding, I know it goes this way!

To prove it, here's a little video:

Table manners

If you finish your meal first, it's important to be patient while everyone else eats.
To help me with that, I usually resort to a book. Hmm, what's this one?

Ahh yes, The Belly Button Book!

I like this book a lot.

See, aren't I being good?

Some Serious Silliness

Oh, who knows the fun you can have...

with a plastic bowl,

a cell phone,

and your own head!

PlayZone fun!

Hi there. Here I am in my PlayZone. Wanna see how I have fun in here?

OK, first, I get my balance ...

... and then I'm off--ZOOM!--to the other side!

See? Pretty fun stuff, huh?

Full-Frontal Bibwear

For those truly messy meals, I wear this 100%-coverage bib that Julia and her mother Anna brought me back from Paris. Aren't I doing a nice job modeling it?

This isn't a great shot of the bib, but Mom likes it as a picture of me in profile.

Hooray for French bibs!
