A gift from my Great (and great) Aunt Ella

She sent me two Dr. Seuss books, and these two fabulous Dr. Seuss creatures.

Thank you, Ella!

My new trick

I've become quite the little monkey lately.

In no time at all, I can hoist myself up onto just about anything.

(Yes, that's Kody trying to stop me...)

Then I stand right up...

...and get into all kinds of trouble!

Luckily, though, I'm also very good at turning around and lowering myself back down safely!

A trip to the farm

Mom and Dad's friends Cara and Peter were in town visiting their family--who lives on a real farm! So of course we went to see them.

I met baby cows.

Cailey and Garrett made a hay fort with me.

I rode on a motorbike...

And then I rode on a big tractor with HUGE wheels...

And THEN I rode on a HORSE!

What a great day. We have lots of video, too, but it's still not letting us post. Sorry, just pix for now!

My future's so bright...

I gotta wear shades!

It takes some doing to get them on...

but once they're on, boy, do I look cool!

A Birthday Party!

I went to my first birthday party! It was at a place called The Little Gym, and boy was it fun!

We ran around and climbed on mats and bars and had a swell time. Mom and Dad took lots of great videos, but Blogger isn't letting us upload them. So for now you'll have to make do with this one picture. Sorry!

AHA Heart Walk

On April 10th, Mom and I participated in the Heart Walk with some of her friends from work. Go Team Dixon Schwabl!

Waiting in the car

Here's a close-up.

Aren't I cute?!

Happy Easter!

For Easter, we went over to our friends Kevin and Julie's house. Mom and I had fun playing outside.

Look, we even played with Pooh Bear!

Did I mention...

That I like to play peek-a-boo?

Where's Atticus?

I said, Where's Atticus?

There he is! Peek-a-boo!

My new sun hat

We had a VERY warm day the other day. So warm, that we had to break out my shorts, and my t-shirt, AND my brand new sun hat.

What do you think??

Happy Morning!

There's nothing like a good bagel on a Sunday morning.

You know what I'm talkin' about?

Add some prune juice to the mix, and it's just heaven.

You hear what I'm screamin'?

A trip to the beach

When my Opa Matty was visiting, he and Daddy and I took a trip to the beach.

Look, there are waves!

And so many things to explore ...

and so many rocks to give Daddy!

Peek-a-Boo!

I'll play peek-a-boo anytime, any place.

Here I am!

A stacking sensation!

Lately, I've become very good at stacking things. Luckily, my Nana got me these awesome blocks for Christmas.

See, I can stack lots of blocks. I can even do two stacks at once.

I make them nice and tall!

Yep, no biggie. I stack.
